HYUNDAI MOTOR MANUFACTURING ALABAMA DONATES TOYS TO MARINE CORPS TOYS FOR TOTS CAMPAIGN

MONTGOMERY , Ala., December 16, 2008 – Today, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) team members joined forces to purchases more than 300 toys for needy children in the River Region. The toys were donated to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. Team members also collected more than $200 to be used for the purchase of additional gifts for local children.

“This is the third year HMMA team members have participated in the annual Toys for Tots campaign and the generosity of the team exceed last year,” said Kevin Graham, who co-chaired the toy drive with Katey Ramsey.

Because so many toys were collected this year, the Marine Corp had to make two trips to HMMA to pick up all of the toys, games, bicycles, dolls and many more.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, headquartered in Montgomery, Ala., is an independent manufacturing operation of Hyundai Motor Company, based in Seoul, Korea. HMMA currently produces the 2009 Sonata sedan and the next generation 2008 Santa Fe sport utility vehicle.
