About Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) Tours

March 31, 2020: In response to the current outbreak of COVID-19, and in the interest of the health and safety of our Team Members and tour guests, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama has made the decision to cancel all public tours until further notice. HMMA is continuously monitoring the situation and will resume public tours when we feel it is safe to do so.

Experience one of the world’s most advanced automotive plants and watch Alabama Team Members and amazing robots assemble the Hyundai Sonata and Elantra.

You are invited to come watch the process of building over 1,500 Hyundai cars each work day.  After checking out the display cars in the showroom, you’ll watch a briefing and video before boarding the tour tram and putting on a headset and safety glasses.  Your tour guide will drive you though the manufacturing plant and explain the many steps involved with making a car.  You’ll enjoy watching the technology, learning how it all works, and waving at the enthusiastic Alabama Team Members.
