HYUNDAI MOTOR MANUFACTURING ALABAMA TEAM MEMBERS DONATE HUNDREDS OF UNIFORM ITEMS TO MONTGOMERY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Montgomery, Ala., August 5, 2022 – Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) and its team members donated more than 700 new school uniform items for Montgomery Public School System students. During the month of July, team members descended on local retail stores to purchase more than $6,000 worth of school uniform items. Team Members were given uniform color and size guidelines to help them purchase the appropriate shirts and pants for local schools. Team Member purchases cover nearly every stage in a student’s career: from elementary school to middle school and high school.

The uniforms were presented to representatives of the Montgomery Public School system for distribution to local schools and students.

This was HMMA’s 17th back-to-school drive and first school uniform drive. The uniforms donated include: polo shirts in white, blue, red, sky blue, green and purple; and pants in khaki, blue and black. The uniforms are brand new and in a range of sizes for both boys and girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
